At Dr Gerard, we combine our long-standing tradition of making pastries with being customer-oriented and aware of current market trends. In order to meet the needs of our consumers as well as to protect the natural environment in which we live, we constantly strive to improve our products and their production processes.

We already eliminated all fats containing high levels of trans fatty acids from our products several years ago, due to their proven adverse effects on human health.

We are also systematically removing palm oil from the ingredients used in our sweet and savoury snacks, and where this is not possible due to technological limitations then we utilise palm oil obtained from RSPO-certified sustainable farming.
